INCS are an effective treatment for Nasal Polyps ( Nose polyps ) but are limited in their efficacy by inconsistent nasal distribution, especially in the presence of severe nasomucosal edema or large nasal polyps. Conven¬tional nasal sprays deliver less than 5% of metered INCS into the middle meatus, the critical area of the nose for drainage of the maxillary, anterior ethmoid, and frontal sinuses. Several different delivery strategies, such as nebulization or irrigation, are used to overcome this maldistribution. Nose Polyps tissues were obtained from 8 patients with nasal pol-yposis and asthma undergoing functional endoscopic sinussurgery (FESS). NM was obtained from the inferiorturbinate of 8 subjects undergoing turbin ectomy for turbinate hypertrophy with or without septoplasty for nasalseptum deviation. New study shows that fibroblasts from patients with NPs and asthma who have a poor clinical response to Glucocorticoids Nasal  treatment, display a relative resistance to the anti-proliferative effects of glucocorticoids nasal,  compared to fibroblasts from control nasal mucosa.  In addition, glucocorticoids nasal  failed to inhibit collagen expression in any fibroblast type. In contrast, GCs effectively down-regulated IL-6 and IL-8 production by nasal fibroblasts, though Nasal Polyps fibroblasts were less sensitive to dexamethasone than NM fibroblasts.  Overall, our findings reinforce the concept that glucocorticoids nasal are less effective in reducing fibrosis and remodelling of the airways than in reducing inflammation.
